How to dress a baby for 60°F weather
60°F is about 16°C. Mild. Most babies need about one light layer more than you.
Stroller walk
- Long-sleeve bodysuit and pants
- A light cardigan or sweater you can take off
- Socks; a thin hat if it's breezy or baby is under 3 months
Car seat
Same outfit without a jacket. A warm car can overheat a baby quickly, so remove layers once it warms up.
What to check
In the sun 60°F can feel much warmer. Check the back of the neck after 10–15 minutes.
